2010's "Ice Fishing" Tournament

On Sunday, March 21, 2010 at the Minnow Bucket Marina on Lake Fork, near Quitman, TX, a rare spectacle took place. It was snowing. In 16 years of holding the Big Bass Classic Fishing Tournament, this was certainly a first.

The weather wasn't exactly what we expected on the first day of spring, but we still had an exceptional turnout and a good time. It's not too often that you have to worry about snow and 30mph freezing winds during an east Texas fishing tournament! We had about 330 teams signed up, and we paid out all 54 places - so anyone who weighed in a fish received a check.

Thanks again to all our diehard participants, congratulations to the winners, and we hope to see you all again this year, on Sunday, April 3rd at Lake Fork's Minnow Bucket Marina!
